Doing our bit to fight COVID-19

(COVID-19 Update – 25th March 2020)

Dear Customers,

Over the last few weeks, we have all been concerned with the uncertainty of the current situation and what is happening around the world on COVID-19. Our hearts go out to everyone who have been impacted by the virus directly or indirectly. At this point, we know that the first priority for every individual must be you and your family’s health and well-being.  At the same time, we understand that you rely on us to help keep your business moving forward. Bin Salim assures you that we have plans to achieve both these goals.

Therefore, to ensure the above, Bin Salim Group would like to inform you on certain changes that will be taking place with immediate effect: (All contact details are mentioned at the end of this message.)

1. We continue to be open for business but would be adapting our approach.  Our offices, workshops, warehouses and other locations will remain closed until further notice. However, all staff will be available as usual from their place of residence and working remotely.

2. Our warehouses are stocked and will be functional. However, we strongly advise you to contact the warehouse prior to your visit and one of our Bin Salim representatives who will guide you on how to proceed.

3. As physical contact has to be avoided and social distancing to be practiced, all invoices will be stamped and sent electronically. If your company has a defined contact person(s) and their E-Mail Address for this purpose, kindly share it with us through your Account Manager at Bin Salim. Similarly, you can send your valid LPO electronically, which would be processed after getting approved by our Credit Control Department.

4. With regard to the payment of invoices, collection of cheques is also not recommended. Hence, we request you to kindly make the payment as and when they are due via a Bank Transfer to the below account:

1. In case you have any payments or cheques to be collected from us, kindly contact our Accounts Department and one of our representatives will guide you on how to proceed.

2. Our team for repairs and services would not be available as well. However, should you face any major breakdown or require urgent assistance, kindly contact the concerned department and arrangements can be made.
